READYMIX CEMENT SAND POLYMERIZED PLASTER

Description

PROPLASTEX is a perfect blend of cement with graded sand and advanced polymers, to produce a smooth, hard and durable protective layer of plaster. It can be efficiently applied on brick & block masonry for both external and internal plastering works. It requires water addition of 18 % of weight of powder. Application procedure is similar to that of conventional plasters, but the major advantage of this product is lesser rebound. This enables faster construction with crack resistant, durable surfaces.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Before applying, remove any dust, loose particles, oil, and traces of adhering material from the surfaces. It’s better to use sandpaper, putty blade or wire brush to help it clean. To achieve good workability and higher coverage always pre-wet the surface before application. Holes & cracks on surface of brick wall should be repaired before plastering. Ideal for well-prepared walls with maximum thickness of plastering up to 15 mm

APPLICATION

Add 40 Kg bag of PROPLASTEX to 7.5 liters water and mix with a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes to achieve a uniform, lump-free consistency. Leave the mixed material to stand for 5min, and briefly remix without adding water. Apply PROPLASTEX using mortar trowels and spatula. It can be applied by normal masons like conventional plasters. For thickness above 15 mm it is recommended to be applied in multiple layers. It requires water curing 3 times a day for 2 days only. Then let the plaster fully dry. Apply paints & coatings once the plaster dries out completely, generally after 7 days.
