READYMIX PLASTER FOR EPS/THERMOCOL PROTECTION IN COLD STORAGES

Description

ECOSET READYMIX is an economical cement based readymix plaster for protection of EPS Boards/Thermocol in cold storages. This protection plaster has high life compared to sand cement plaster and has very strong bonding over EPS boards comparatively. It does not crack in sub-zero temperatures and maintains its bonding strongly over EPS boards. ECOSET READYMIX has very good water resistant properties and does not absorb moisture. This helps to protect the food products from damage.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Surface must be clean, dry, structurally sound and free of efflorescence, grease and oil. Irregular/ uneven walls should be plastered and evenly leveled. For up to 10 mm unevenness in wall, ribbon and dab method must be used for fixing boards. Any paint on the wall has to be stripped off using sandpaper. Hammer hack is not required on the walls.

APPLICATION

Take a clean container/plastic pail of 25 liters capacity. Add 6 liters of clean, potable water in the container. Add half a bag of ECOSET READYMIX in this pail and mix using a heavy-duty drill (Ф18 mm) with a rust-free paddle at 300-400 rpm. The remaining half bag is added and mixed until a thoroughly blended paste is obtained. Let the mixture stand for 2-3 minutes and then stir again. Very little water may be added while working to adjust the mortar workability. The mixture should be used immediately within its pot life after mixing. After working, clean the tools with soap and water.
