HIGH ALBEDO, HEAT REFLECTIVE COOL ROOF COATING

AMBICOOL is a high performance acrylic polyurethane hybrid polymers based cool roof coating which keeps a building cool in summers by minimizing absorption of sun rays and maximizing heat rejection. The Solar infrared spectrum reflective pigments and controlled stabilized voids created by hollow glass microspheres in coating reflect over 90% of the solar rays from the roof surface. AMBICOOL provides an affordable and smart cool roof solution that helps manage cooling demand and mitigate the impact of urban heat island effect. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Fresh masonry or concrete substrate must be allowed to cure for at least 14 days. Clean the area from all loose particles, oil, grease and any such deleterious materials. All surface cracks should be filled up with a paste of Cement and ACEGUARD BA mixed in ratio of 2:1 and applied using a trowel to seal the gaps.

APPLICATION

On Metal roof, bitumen membranes and other non-absorbent surfaces, apply first coat of AMBIPRIME for proper bonding of AMBICOOL. On cement based substrate, dampen the surface before starting the application. For first primer coat, dilute AMBICOOL with 30 - 35 % water by weight and apply it by brush/roller. It will dry in 2 - 3 hours in normal weather conditions. Apply second coat of AMBICOOL without any dilution, directly on primer using brush/roller. After second coat dries, Apply third coat without any dilution, directly using brush/roller. Dilution will decrease the performance and life of product and will void warranty conditions.
