ACEGUARD AC

PROTECTIVE ANTI CARBONATION COATING FOR CONCRETE

ACEGUARD AC is a high performance architectural anti-carbonation flexible coating based on stabilized pure acrylic dispersion with excellent external weathering & UV resistance in variable weather conditions, coastal & urban polluted environments, and inside car parks and buildings where a high level of wash ability and stain resistance is required. The coating is breathable which allows the free passage of moisture vapor, keeping the surfaces drier and free from the build-up of moisture because moisture enable diffusion of CO₂ and chlorides more easily into the concrete.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Fresh masonry or concrete substrate must be allowed to cure for at least 14 days. Clean the area from all loose particles, oil, grease and any such deleterious materials. All surface cracks should be filled up with a paste of Cement and ACEGUARD BA mixed in ratio of 2:1 and applied using a trowel to seal the gaps.

APPLICATION

After the proper surface preparation prime it using PRIMEBOND diluted in 2:1 ratio with water. Apply it as a single coat and let it dry for 12 hours. Stir ACEGUARD AC thoroughly before use. Apply first coat of ACEGUARD AC with 10 % water dilution by volume using suitable paint roller or brush. The second coat is to be applied after 6-8 hours with 10 % water dilution by volume. Do not dilute more than 10% as it will decrease the performance of coating.

STORAGE

Store in dry area between +5°C and +35°C. Protect from heat, freezing and direct sunlight
